Rose a.k.a Vesailiki

I'm converting to the Greek Orthodox religion.
For the sake of the church, I have chosen the Greek name "Vesailiki"
Vesailiki means "Queen".
The name belong's to Adonis' grandmother, his mother's mother.
I think it is a beautiful name.
I'm not changing my First name legally. Just for the sake of the baptism.
I am, however, looking forward to losing my last name. The one last tie I have to my father.
I wonder if he's happy.
I wonder how he felt when he received my letter.
Probably nothing.

A year ago, if you had told me I would meet a Greek man and fall in love, get married, consider having his children....I would have been very amused.
Also, if you told me I would be working at a law firm, I wouldnt' have believed it. I vowed never to work corporate.
Now here I am blessed in love and in my work life.

I have a soar throat.
Last night Adonis and I watched "Heaven" with Cate Blanchet, then had amazing sex.
Holding his face in my hands (like a fucking Harelequin Romance novel) i told him that I never thought sex could be this good.
He wanted to know what I meant by this.
I explained that I'd always heard that sex is better with someone you love. "And this is the first time I've had it with someone I love, and it just keeps getting better."
He smiled, then pinched my cheeks, kissed me, pressed his nose into my nose, and wrapped his arms around me.
We drank Greek wine, watched the news, then fell asleep around 11 o'clock.
We're already married.
