As much as I love some of the things I have purchased for my son that are made in China, like his TINY LOVE GYMINI and his FISHER-PRICE RAINFOREST JUMPEROO, I worry about whether or not the parts that come along with them, the ones that are small enough for him to put inside his little mouth, are really safe.
Before he was born I watched with horror as one of the nation's largest toy manufacturer's admitted they had not inspected all of the toys they had made in China and as a result some of the parts were deemed "toxic". I vowed then to find toys that were not made in China.
I began my search on the internet, as I am a big fan of online shopping. I'm not a typical woman who likes to spend the day at the mall. I get tired quickly and before I can really find what I went there for in the first place I'm ready to turn around and go home.
During my internet search I came across OOMPA TOYS.
No, this is not a paid advert...these are the words of a satisfied customer.
My son LOVES the wooden toys I purchased from Oompa.(As it turns out most of them are made in Germany).
I purchased this Kringelring, made by Haba, and couldn't be more pleased. My son can grasp it easily and is always putting it in his mouth with great enthusiasm. It seems to bring him some relief from his teething.

I also purchased this little guy. My son is not old enough yet (He's not quite six months) to really be able to enjoy it because his hands can't fully grasp it. But I know that when he's older he'll love it as it makes a great clackity sound and is smooth to the touch.

He's been putting this Blabla Cow Rattle in his mouth for a couple of months now. Designed by a French artist and made in Peru, I recommend it for three months and up. It is a lot smaller than it looks, which makes it easier for baby to grasp. It is machine washable as well.

Another thing he likes to chew on is this Haba Rally Clutching toy. You really can't tell by looking at this photo, but there's a small mirror on it which makes it more interesting for my son who is just beginning to appreciate his good looks (which he got from hid father)!

Check out THEIR SITE. Aside from the wide variety of toys, they have free shipping for orders over $65, you won't pay taxes and they have a rewards program.
Respectfully yours,
A Satisfied Mommy
