with love, your stupid wife

So I know I've mentioned this before but my husband has quite the collection of watches. He does not, however, own any gold watches. Every single one of the eight watches he owns are steel or silver plated.
It's not that he doesn't like gold. In fact he chose a gold band for our wedding. So I was thinking that I might get him a gold pocket watch for our anniversary in June. (That is if we're still together by then).
During my search for the perfect gold watch I came across this one with the Mason's symbol, and this brought back memories of when I was a Rainbow Girl. For those of you who have never heard of Rainbow Girls or Masons, I will give you a little bit of history. In 1922, Rainbow was created for young women whose fathers were members of the Masonic Lodge (Masons), and their friends. Although a Christian minister named W. Mark Sexson founded the organization, today the leaders of Rainbow Girls respect and welcome all girls from every religion. Their main focus is more on the spiritual principles of being a kind and caring person. While the Rainbow practices and programs continue to evolve, the basic teachings of faith, hope, and charity remain a cornerstone of this dynamic girls youth group.
Strangely I don't remember much about it except for the fact that each meeting was scripted and you had to dress up in white gowns. You had women that were higher up than others and you were awarded with badges. I think I only stayed in it for about a year - it was the year my mother died actually. But reading this now it sounds so much like a cult doesn't it?
Okay, so I just decided to do some research on the Masons and found THIS SITE, which believes the Masons were and still are a satanic organization.
Yikes!
Yeah, so I won't be getting my husband the Mason's pocket watch! But I still like the idea of getting him something gold for a change. Maybe something like this 14K Gold plated one. I could get it engraved. It would read something like..."To my husband, with love your STUPID wife."
