life in an RV A stay at home mom of six recently told me that she planned on purchasing an RV, because it's the ultimate way for a large family to travel comfortably together. The only disadvantage of that is how much time you spend traveling in order to get from point A to point B. She homeschools her children so thought it would be a great way to take them from state to state to see all of the historical landmarks and discuss them with her children. What a fantastic idea! Sometimes I think that I could actually LIVE in an RV. Heck, some of them are larger than the one bedroom apartment we're living in here in NYC. And that is no exageration. Given the cost of gas these days, however, I can tell you that we wouldn't be going anywhere in it.
