<< an email from my sister >> Sorry I haven't written much in a while. I'm still feeling like a rat's ass. I got sick at the worst time possible, not that there's ever a good time to get sick, but baby is teething really, really bad and needs his mom. I'm just not able to be as present as he needs me to be. His father has been really great, but he's getting worn down and I'm concerned he's going to get sick as well. The highlight of my day today was receiving an email from my sister. (For those of you who don't know, I was adopted and she's actually my real sister. I found her, my brother and mother several years back. She's a recovered drug addict, but she's been sober for three plus years now and I'm really proud of her. This is the first time she's reached out to me. Hey Rose, I just got some pics of your son from mom and I just waned to say your baby is beauitful and I am very happy for you and your husband. Shawn just turned 3 and I just can not believe how time flies. Jon is already fifteen, can you believe it? This is my last week of school and I start my externship. Mom and me were thinking of going to new york in fall for a visit to see you which would be nice i would love to see you and the baby. love alice
